JoVE video platform trial

The Library and Information Centre of the TUC, asked for  and now provides a trial to the JoVE resource . The trial runs from September 18th to October 18th, 2017.

Devoted to publishing scientific research in visual format, JoVE aims to help researchers overcome two of the biggest challenges facing the scientific research community today:

poor reproducibility and the time and labor intensive nature of learning new experimental techniques.

The platform includes JoVE Video Journal and JoVE Science Education. JoVE Journal combines high-quality video demonstrations of experiments with a detailed text protocol, allowing researchers around the globe to learn from each other easily and efficiently. JoVE Science Education is a video database dedicated to teaching laboratory fundamentals through simple, easy to understand video demonstrations, very useful especially for undergraduate students and post-grads, familiarizing themselves with the equipment found in a science lab and the basic methods that go along with this.
