AAI Infrastructure

The objective of the AAI (Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure) is, in a nutshell, to simplify inter-organizational access to web resources.With a single login, with his/her institutional account, an authorized user can access from anywhere all HEAL-Link subscribed resources. The AAI makes use of a concept called federated identity management.

Up to date, the following organizations have signed the HEAL-Link Federation Partner Agreement and thus are HEAL-Link Federation Partners. Please, follow the steps below per provider/publisher:

Steps:

1. Click on “Institutional login” tab
2. Type and select “Technical University of Crete”

1. Click on "Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-Link)"
2. Click on "Technical University of Crete"

Steps:

1. Click on "Find your Institution via Federation"
2. Click on “Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-Link)”
3. Click on "Technical University of Crete"

Steps:

1. Type “HEAL-Link”
2. Click on "Technical University of Crete"

Steps:

1. Click on “Institutional access - Login via Shibboleth”, or directly click on here
2. Select “HEAL-Link”
3. Select "Technical University of Crete”, login with your institutional credentials and then "Accept"

Steps:

1. Click on “Institutional sign in”, or directly click on here
2. Select “GRNet Federation”
3. Select "Technical University of Crete”, login with your institutional credentials and then "Accept"

Steps:

1. Click on “Sign in” at the top right
2. Click on “sign in” at the “You can also sign in via your institution…”
3. Enter "Πολυτεχνείο Κρήτης" (in Greek) or the domain of the Technical University of Crete, which is "tuc.gr"

Steps:

1. Click on “Sign in” at the top right
2. Click on “Sign in with a different account”
3. Click on "Sign in via your institution"
4. Enter "Πολυτεχνείο Κρήτης" (in Greek) or the domain of the Technical University of Crete, which is "tuc.gr"

Steps:

1. Click on “Login” at the top right.
2. Click on "Access through your institution"
3. Enter "Technical University of Crete" or the domain of the Technical University of Crete, which is "tuc.gr"

Select "Technical University of Crete"

Steps:

1. Select/type “HEAL-Link”
2. Select "Technical University of Crete"

At the window “Select your organization” select “Technical University of Crete”

Type "Technical University of Crete" upper left

Steps:

1. Click at top-center the “Log in through your library to access more features” button
2. Type and then select "Technical University of Crete" or the domain name of the Technical University of Crete "tuc.gr", at the pop-up window “Find your library”

Type "Technical University of Crete" at the “Access via my Institution” window
